Weigh-in Week 3

Hey everyone! Tomorrow is the weigh-in! Please leave your weight/points as a comment here! I hope you're all as prompt as you have been. (Even those of you who are out of town-hint hint.) ;)

I'd also love to hear how some of you are doing with the goals you set at the beginning or recently! Maybe some new goals like some of you post...

I'm not going to be to hard on myself for gaining. We celebrated a few birthdays and went out a few times this week. Plus I'm a stress eater and this week was crazy stressful!(excuses...excuses)We are heading on vacation today so hopefully I will do better next week!

I'm not really upset about this because it is that time of the month, and I am happy to not have the weight be higher! =) I think I am doing good, so that is what counts. I will keep drinking 8 glasses of water a day. I also made a deal with myself to only drink diet soda when I eat out, not at home anymore.

I'm down .4lbs, so I don't get my "lost weight" points. :( To keep on track with my goal I need to lose 2lbs this week! I guess I better quit snitching fingerfuls of leftover icing from the fridge. If its not a serving of icing then it's not negative points, right?

Woohoo Kerry! Great decision! Let us know if it makes a difference for you! Also, I hope those of you switching to caffeine free don't have too much problem with headaches and energy and stuff. If you do, remember that if you stick with it, that will go away! Good luck everyone!

Points- 755, I ran out of friuts and vegtableble before I could get to the store again!

Weight- 170.4

I've done pretty good on cutting back on sugar and really great at making my portions smaller! I've also been able to exercise for at least 1/2 hour at least 5 times a week.

I'm anticipating maybe having to quit this round. To make a long story short I have started getting sick again with vertigo. I haven't had an attack in almost 2 1/2 years. It usually puts me in bed for a couple of days although it seems worse than ever this time with other symptoms tacked onto it. Anyway, hopefully this time around my doctors will be able to figure out what is going on. As of right now I'm in the contest but if my attacks get more frequent I'll bow out. Sorry this is depressing but i feel like keeping it to myself makes it more depressing for me. Sharing it with friends, even though we've never met does make it feel better! =0)

my goal for this week is to have only ONE serving at each meal. I always have good intentions and start out with something light. Like tonight for dinner I made myself a big salad and a bowl of green beans, but then I thought..."this isn't very much and I will probably be hungry soon, I better eat a little more so I can make it til the morning." Then before I know it I've eaten a handful of crackers dipped in spaghetti sauce, a few carob nuggets, and a few spoonfuls of date bars that I made today that are suppose to be for our trip out of town this weekend.
So, ya, just one serving for me from now on! No more snacking Right after dinner!

Goals:
Keep lifting.
Keep running.
Keep drinking H20.

Hopefully next week we'll see 145. Yeah! Last time I lost weight I was dropping 3-4 a week. Needless to say, I'm frustrated, but I'm not throwing in the towel just yet!

I have decided that a gain is exactly what I needed to really get myself motivated. I think we can all agreee it is not fun, but it definately makes me want to do better so I don't have a gain the next.
Happy Birthday Lonnie, I had it on my calendar and totally didn't look at my calendar that day. I love you, and you know it right?
And hoping for a better week for all of us right?

A so-so week around here...
slacked a little on the workouts.

For this week:

Prioritize to make workouts happen. Every day. No excuses. (which means, Heidi, if we get together to workout, we stick to the plan instead of giving in to my request to go shopping for an hour at Old Navy instead...my bad...)

And up water intake. Try for a gallon a day.

P.S. Sorry, Liesl! I hope things start looking up for you! Having issues beyond your control get in the way of progress is never fun at all...especially when it is probably affecting all areas of your life. Hang in there! Good luck!!
