Weigh-in Day!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a good week. Mine has been crazy and is promising to get crazier. Don't forget to weigh-in tomorrow so we can post results on time. (Jocey, I think I'll be ok to post this week, but I'll let you know if that changes.)

Thanks everyone!
Carrie

My motivation is stuck somewhere in between the ice cream I bought for my son's birthday and the double chocolate cookies my husband made for FHE. I didn't I would spiral down so quickly! I haven't gone as far as not exercising or giving in to my DP, but I fear that is just around the corner. Someone find me my motivation and tell it to come back!!

Getting closer to breaking out of the 160's! Hopefully by next week. I did great with water this week, but not great with the diet soda's. My new goal is to only drink diet soda on the weekend. I also need to be getting more fruits/veggies. At least 5 a day. I had a yummy smoothie this AM that gave me a milk serving, and 3 fruit servings, and was about 240calories.

Strawberry banana smoothie

1 C. frozen strawberries
1 banana
1 C. fat free milk
2 Tbls. fat free cool whip
1 Tbls. sugar free/fat free white chocolate pudding (powder)
8 cubes of ice

throw in blender and mix until all blended.

This has been really hard for me. I feel like I'm working hard, but not seeing much results. I think it is because I am nursing. I hope that maybe it will just all of a sudden start to fall off! My goal this week is to eat smaller portions and drink more water.

Yay! nothing like a good case of swine flu to get me back on track.... didn't get the stomach issues with it... just no appetite. I lived on fruit smoothies (with a soy meal replacement) and scrambled eggs and ramen. But I don't recommend this to anyone. The fever and headache were so persistent... at least 5 days straight. And thank goodness, no coughing! I feel very lucky.

SO I completely cut out soda and I was able to lose 2 pounds. I am so excited. Each week I am choosing a new thing to replace an old habit. Such as, Last week I cut out soda and replaced it with water and this week i am cutting out fried food, (I love chicken tenders) and replacing it with baked food.

Was hoping for a 2 pound loss, but I'll take it! Why am I sad when I don't lose like 4 pounds a week? Is that too much to ask for? Oh yeah, I'm not working out 6 hours a day like on Biggest Loser. Does anyone else feel like that?

I'm heading to Cali next week, so I'm stepping it up. If I could lose 2 pounds I'd be soooooo happy!

Goals:

2 classes at the gym
continue light weights/lots of reps
Water water water

The water thing is hard for some reason. I really like it, but have not been consuming what I need to at all. Usually it's about 16oz a day. Bad, bad!

Ok so I can't seem to budge from 159. I have 11 pounds to lose before I get back to my pre-baby weight before I had 4 kids. That seems years away, but it's doable!

I've been drinking ionized water this past week and hope to be able to continue. (the machine costs 4K so we've been getting it from family for free)I hope that it will take care of some of my scary health issues and put me back on track to feeling 110%. It's supposed to balance the PH in your body so that it becomes more efficient. Until next time......

Liesl, I know exactly what water you are talking about and I have heard alot of great things. I drink it when I think about it, but sometimes it's a pain getting over to my MIL's to fill my jug since it only lasts 3 days. Anyways, I really hope it does the trick for you. Please keep us updated.
