I'm totally excited about doing this with you all! And to get to know you all a little better!
I decided I better write my goals down---or it's not going to happen! and here is a great place to write them!
1. Run every day at least once, maybe twice, and if I'm lucky 3 times minimum 2 miles everyday! For me, easiest way to lose weight!
2. Eat smaller portions! like 1/2 of what I would normally put on my plate!
3. Tummy Crunches! YEAH thats the worst part of my body! HOW MANY??? I'll count today and see what my realistic goal will be.
4. Arms and Leg weight lifts. again---we'll see after today how many to start at!
5. Giving up sweets is the hardest part! IT'S too HARD! So, since we're doing this through the holidays---I am going to do--ity-bity bites or "Just a taste". Lame I know---but I know myself and if I restrict to NOTHING---I'll fail and be mad at myself! So I'll try this!
For now--those are my goals. What are yours??? What are you doing to get those Skinny Jeans on?

Hello All! My name is Lindsey Teele. I met Carrie at the bus stop we drop our girls off for school. I am so excited to join this group. I think great things will come out from it.
My goals:
Exercise 30 minutes 5 x's a week.
Keep under 1500 calories.
Write down everything I eat.
Stop snacking especially when I prepare foods.
Overall change my eating habits to a healthier lifestyle.
Look forward to hearing from everyone.
Carrie! Running three times a day? How in the world are you going to do that? You go girl. Now I'm nervous.
Lindsey nice ot meet you.
Don't worry Amy, that wasn't me. At the bottom of the post it said "Posted by Martin Ricks Family" in a really small font. Hehe, that's my sister in law Somer and I'm pretty sure she has more willpower than I do. :)
Here's my goals:
Exercise 5 days a week, either walking or pilates.
Cut back on treats...like, instead of eating a plate of cookies, eat one or two...instead of 3 scoops of ice cream, one, etc.
No soda...except special occasions. And since Dave thinks that I can pick any day to be a special occasion, I will clarify...New Years Eve, a special night out to dinner like Bday or Anniversary. That's about it.
Ok, yeah, I think I'm going to start with those. I don't want to overdo it because I'm also setting big goals right now with getting my house clean and keeping it that way.
Thanks Somer for starting the conversation! Good luck everyone!
